Mentoring

We believe mentorship is a fundamental value that builds character and community. It allows for the sharing of knowledge and experience which contributes to the longterm sustainability of communities through individual growth. Too many go without guidance and insight which leads to barriers and results in them not reaching their potential.

CFC mentor program will assist with personal development in the area of employment. In addition to career/college readiness, we will help children to understand the landscape of life after high school in a practical way in addition to giving by via mentoring to younger students to follow. We strive to be the foundation upon which a sustainable network of children will build a growing network of knowledge, experience and connections to grow from.

CFC desires to pair students with mentors and internships in their designated fields of choice to provide job experience, exposure, in addition to educational and career opportunities.

Here’s how you can help.

  1. Contact your employer to see if they are willing to partner with CFC’s mentoring program.

  2. Consider volunteering a 45 mins a week.
